If you have ever used a Tonneau cover you probably noticed pretty quickly that it is much easier to access the truck bed from the tailgate than it is from the sides, and the further you need to reach into the back of a truck, the harder it gets. One man thinks he has a solution to this problem, but he needs our help.

Robert L Caperton Jr., an Inventor in Orlando Florida, has a crowdfunding project at FundaGeek.com to help bring his idea of an all access tonneau cover to the masses. His Access Hinge invention can bring multiple hinge points to the tonneau cover, truck boxes and many other applications.

Unfortunately it looks like the first product featuring his hinge has a home in the bathroom and an actual tonneau cover might be a ways off, but if his idea has you interested you can pledge a dollar or more and see where this goes.
